• Age At least 18 years

• Diploma in Medical Technology in Biochemistry

• Stay informed about advances in laboratory technology, methods, and best practices, participating in continuing education and professional development activities.   

• Assist in the development, validation, and implementation of new laboratory tests, procedures, and protocols as needed·        

• Ensure machineries and equipment are functioning properly·        

• Train junior staff regarding lab procedures and protocols.  

• Maintain proper records and statistical details of the tests that are run·        

• A thorough understanding and proficiency in conducting chemical analyses of body fluids and must be able to make reports.        

• Participate in training and professional development programs·        

• Maintain professionalism while respecting and upholding the rights and dignity of patients. 

•   Abide by all policies within the department.·        

• Inform patient if there is any delay in timetable.    

• Supervise the timetable to align with patients` arrivals and consultants` prescribed schedules on a daily basis.      

• Additionally, counsel and reassure patients if the schedule cannot be maintained as promised.
