Education:
    • Bachelor/Honors
  • Bachelor’s degree in Korean Language, Korean Studies, Education, Linguistics, Foreign Languages, or a related field.

  • A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline may be considered if the candidate has strong Korean-language qualifications and teaching experience.

Additional Requirements:
  • Age 25 to 35 years
  • TOPIK II (Level 4) or above preferred.

  • Candidates with equivalent advanced Korean proficiency may also be considered.

  • Strong command of Korean grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, listening, and speaking.

  • Good classroom management and student-engagement skills.

  • Familiarity with Zoom, Google Workspace, LMS, and digital teaching tools is an advantage.



Responsibilities & Context:
  1. Conduct structured TOPIK I and/or TOPIK II preparation courses according to the students’ proficiency levels.

  2. Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, worksheets, quizzes, assessments, and other learning resources.

  3. Teach the four core Korean language skills: Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing.

  4. Conduct both offline and online classes and maintain effective classroom management and student engagement.

  5. Train and prepare students to sit for the TOPIK (Test of Proficiency in Korean) examination.

  6. Conduct regular mock tests and practice sessions based on the TOPIK examination format.

  7. Assess students’ strengths and weaknesses and provide individual guidance and recommendations to improve their TOPIK scores.

  8. Advise students on the appropriate TOPIK level/examination based on their Korean proficiency and academic or career goals.

  9. Provide guidance on TOPIK registration, examination structure, scoring, preparation strategies, and study materials.

  10. Help students develop the specific skills required for the Listening, Reading, and Writing sections of TOPIK.

  11. Track students’ progress through periodic assessments and recommend when they are ready to sit for the examination.

  12. Perform any other tasks as assigned by management.
