Responsibilities & Context:
- Work with patients who have a range of conditions, including orthopedics, neurological, neuro-musculoskeletal, cardiovascular and respiratory, sometimes over a period of weeks;
- Diagnose, assess and treat their physical problem/condition;
- Develop and review treatment programs that encourage exercise and movement by the use of a range of techniques.
- Provide evidence-based physiotherapy interventions, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, electrotherapy, and mobility training.
- Educate patients on exercises, lifestyle modifications, and preventive care strategies.
- Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and maintain accurate clinical records.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, infection control, and hospital/clinic policies.
The vacancy is for 3 months initially which can be extended if necessary.
