Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements (Tax, VAT, Companies Act, Bangladesh Bank regulations, FRC guidelines, and others)
∎ Prepare and submit Income Tax returns, VAT returns, and quarterly advance tax
∎ Develop tax strategies and oversee VAT management
∎ Coordinate and manage tax audits
∎ Maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions
∎ Monitor cash positions, perform cash flow analysis, and propose liquidity improvements
∎ Provide regular cash flow and financial risk reports
∎ Forecast daily cash requirements and manage financing decisions
∎ Engage in budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and profit analysis
∎ Analyze and correct variances between forecasted and actual cash flows
∎ Prepare cost analyses and reports for raw materials, packing materials, and production
∎ Conduct cost-benefit analysis for projects and machines -
∎ Calculate resource efficiency
∎ Develop financial policies, procedures, approval matrices, and internal control systems
∎ Implement changes in tax and VAT laws -Perform any other tasks assigned by management
