∎ Minimum 2 years of work experience in humanitarian and/or development programs/industry in Information Technology and/or IT Enable Services experiences is required.
∎ Minimum BSc in Computing Science/ Computer Science/ Engineering
∎ ITIL/CCNA/MCSA/MS Azure Certification will be given preference.
∎ Being adaptable with positive approach & able to work under pressure.
∎ Managing IT projects; planning, prioritizing IT related work.
∎ Understanding IT politics, Organization policy and culture.
∎ Understanding existing and new technologies.
∎ Strong Communication skills.
∎ Experience (Including sector/industry):
∎ Minimum 2 years of work experience in humanitarian and/or development programs/industry in Information Technology and/or IT Enable Services experiences is required.
∎ Specific Educational Qualification:
∎ Minimum BSc in Computing Science/ Computer Science/ Engineering

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Work in collaboration with the Country IT Lead to ensure that end users computers are setup and configured with the Organization standard Operating system and applications versions (Organization image).
∎ Ensure that computers peripherals such as scanners, printers, monitors, and others are configured and properly working for all field staff members.
∎ Deploy Local Area network infrastructure following applicable Organization Standard regarding cabling, Wi-Fi, and other active network equipment.
∎ Install and configure computer hardware operating systems and applications.
∎ To install & configure networking LAN, & Wireless knowledge Printer, switch & router.
∎ Must have sound knowledge in Windows based Servers and Country level Active Directory and domain services, including management of AD computers and users' accounts, DNS, DHCP, UEM centralized computers updating.
∎ Update appropriate network security and data loss prevention procedures to safeguard system from physical harm, viruses, unauthorized users, and damage to data.
∎ Investigate local internet connectivity options to obtain adequate bandwidth for intranet and application connectivity.
∎ Maintain up to date IT documentation reflecting current computers assets status and network configurations. Documentation for Disaster Recovery Plan.
∎ Support to IRC facility and staff to ensure all IT equipment are well functional and ensure repair/ maintenance on time if needed
∎ Monitor that field-based staff are using IRC device/ equipment properly and guide them for appropriate use.
∎ Resolve IT Helpdesk Ticketing task within SLA.
∎ Frequent Visit to IRC field offices and Facilities.

∎ Founded in 1933, International Rescue Committee (IRC) is one of the world’s leading agencies working in post-conflict and development contexts, supporting communities in over 40 fragile, failed and developing states. ∎ IRC has been present in Bangladesh since 2017 and obtained registration with the NGOAB in March 2018. Since IRC obtained registration in March 2018, it has moved quickly to expand its integrated emergency health and protection response through both direct and partner-based programming focused on primary healthcare, women’s protection and empowerment, sexual and reproductive health, gender-based violence and child protection. Through 2018, the IRC’s response strategy will primarily target Rohingya refugees in Cox’s Bazar, while meeting the significant needs in both refugee and host populations, as already existing vulnerabilities are compounded with cyclical monsoon and cyclone seasons that impose additional threats to the lives and protection of those refugees as well as vulnerable host populations. IRC is growing its programming to cover education and livelihoods/DRR, as well as its geographic footprint in the host community and to other parts of the country.
∎ Purpose of the Role:
∎ IRC is seeking IT Assistant for its Bangladesh Country Program, based in Ukhiya with very frequent travel to program locations. IT Assistant will closely work with Country IT Lead & Country IT Office Team to ensure the functionality of organizational IT Infrastructure, Service and Support all the existing and upcoming projects.
∎ Under the supervision of the Country IT Lead, the IT Assistant will provide support to end users and ensure IT services, IT security, IT infrastructure to all staff as per Global IRC IT requirements and standardization.
