Experience:

Interviewing & Assessment Skills: At least 2 years’ experience in conducting interviews, evaluating candidate suitability, or reviewing personal statements, essays or academic documents is a strong advantage.
Academic Knowledge: Familiarity with UK and EU academic frameworks, including Level 3, Foundation, Bachelor's, and postgraduate qualifications, is essential. Understanding of international credential equivalency is also beneficial.
Technical & Digital Literacy: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel, Word, Outlook). Experience with student information systems, CRM tools or admissions software is a plus.

About the Admissions Team - PEN Global
The Admissions Team at PEN Global, based in Chattagram, Bangladesh, serves as a vital backend support unit for the UK-based Admissions operations across all Planet Education Networks (PEN) institutions. This team assists the UK team to ensure that the admissions process runs smoothly, efficiently and accurately. As part of a growing international network, the team supports Elizabeth School of London, Victoria College of Arts and Design, William College, Zenith Academy of Healthcare Studies and other PEN institutions by managing document processing, academic evaluations, interview coordination and admissions tracking.
Location: ONSITE, Chattagram, Bangladesh
Employment Type: Full Time, Monday to Friday: 2pm - 10pm BD Time (following UK Time 9am - 5pm GMT)
Responsibilities
Lead Structured Interviews: Conduct in-depth, standardised interviews with prospective students to assess academic potential, communication ability, motivation, and overall institutional fit.
Admissions Assessment: Independently evaluate student applications, academic documents, personal statements, and credentials using UK education benchmarks and internal quality rubrics.
Quality Control: Maintain consistency and fairness in assessment outcomes. Support moderation, flagging inconsistencies, and proposing improvements to interview or evaluation processes.
Understand admissions process: Have a good understanding of the admissions process, as well as an understanding of academic qualifications and what level they are.
Collaborate with the admissions and interview team: Work closely with the team in Bangladesh and UK to ensure smooth coordination of all aspects of the admissions process, including application review, interview scheduling and decision-making.
Data Management: Ensure all records, evaluations, and interview materials are documented with accuracy and confidentiality in line with GDPR and institutional policies.
Attend Admission Events: Represent the PEN institutions at admissions events, such as open events, school fairs and information sessions. Present the institution’s values and programs to potential students and families and provide personalised guidance based on their needs.
Training & Guidance: Provide informal mentoring and guidance to new team members or junior interviewers. Help promote best practices within the interview team.
Stay Updated: Keep abreast of current trends and best practices in the field of admissions and education. Continuously develop knowledge of the PEN institutions’ offerings and educational advancements to effectively communicate with prospective families.
