Educational Requirements:
∎ Candidates should have Bachelor/ Masters degree in any discipline preferably Education/Social Sciences from reputed universities in Bangladesh or abroad.
∎ Skills Required: Fluent in written and spoken Bengali English.

Job Context:
∎ BRAC Education Programme launched in 1985, has been operating its model in all over the Bangladesh to make a significant contribution to the achievement of Education for all (EFA). Providing quality education to children of poor disadvantaged family, ethnic minorities and children with special needs are the remarkable tone of this programme. Over the years Education programme has run with the support the of donor agencies and eventually passed through a strategic transformation in 2017. It is seen that people now can pay in return of quality service which strikes as an advantage of promoting cost recovery model. All the components of BEP has tried to evolve and shifted into a sustainable model. In addition, a research has done in 2016 to identify the process, perception and quality of education in cost recovery model. In Cost recovery model, ECD, BPPS, BPS, ADP, MCLC, Supported Secondary school share the same strategy with different targets.
∎ Purpose: This internship is intended to give fresh graduates practical, hands-on experience in the area of education program. The intern will assist our Quality, Content and Curriculum team and will have the opportunity to see, learn and support developing contents and curriculum, conducting research and training. For graduates with an interest in the development sector and education field, this is a unique learning opportunity which combines interaction with external and internal stakeholders and senior management as well as possible field trips within BRAC’s extensive operations in Bangladesh.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Supporting Training, Curriculum and Content team to develop contents and materials for the programme
∎ Working with content team of BRAC Education Program to research best practices in training and content development
∎ Reviewing books and other materials for new content and curriculum development
∎ Visiting social enterprise chain school models
∎ Supporting training team to conduct training and workshops for BRAC Academy and Shishu Niketon teachers
∎ Assisting training team to conduct assessment, evauation and follow up with trainees

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 30 years
∎ Interest in creative writing and lesson designing
∎ Preliminary skills in data collection and making presentations
∎ Excellent interpersonal, communication skills
∎ Good prioritization skill and multi-tasking ability
∎ Interest in development sector
∎ Candidates with extra curricular activities will get preference.

Salary:
∎ Selected Candidate will get a stipend of BDT. 5000 per month.
