∎ Post-Graduate qualification in Accounting, Business or Finance or other relevant subject and with Chartered Accountancy Course Complete.
∎ CA partly passed/ CMA Intermediate/ ACCA partly passed will be an added advantage.

Job Context:
∎ Type of Contract: Three (03) years fixed term
∎ Duty Station: Head Office, Dhaka
∎ Job Purpose: S/he will be responsible to ensure that the Concern Programmes, including its partners, are fully compliant with Concern and its donors` rules and regulations. S/he will ensure sound financial monitoring by planning and executing both scheduled and ad hoc audit assignments including donor compliance, internal control assessments, partners` verification visits and fraud investigations. He/she will contribute to a systematic and disciplined approach to risk management, controls and governance processes within Concern and Partners.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Conducting risk assessment through collecting information from respective management, reviewing various documents in line with risk estimation, identifying the risk factor and preparing a risk assessment statement.
∎ Preparing effective audit plan based on risk statement where all high risk auditable spots are included in the plan.
∎ Initiating the preparation of a model audit program based on international auditing standard and organisation's policy, procedure and good practices.
∎ Ensuring continual updating of knowledge and understanding on international audit standards and best practices in NGO/ other internal auditing.
∎ Ensuring correspondence with the auditee/respective personnel and circulating visit schedule on a timely basis through relevant communications method.
∎ Reviewing compliance, ensuring the organization is adhering to rules, codes or practice, ethics, internal guidelines and principles.
∎ Preserving all required supporting papers in the working file that retained in accordance with the requirements of audit program and standard practices.
∎ On an annual basis preparing pending audit recommendations and sharing with respective management for management actions as required.
∎ Drafting consistent and comprehensive audit report with utmost care in order to ensure a clear understanding and avoid confusion to the auditee and in accordance with international audit standard.
∎ Conducting investigation based on Terms of Reference (TOR) and identifying genuine facts.
∎ Participating actively in team planning and other meetings, working to set common objectives and goals and striving to ensure these are successfully achieved.
∎ Contribute to the process of implementing quality programmes by ensure that the Core Humanitarian Standards (CHS) of accountability is conceptualized and effectively implemented throughout the organization.
∎ Promote and ensure compliance with the requirements of Concern's HR policies, Concern's Code of Conduct and its associated safeguarding policies and Core Humanitarian Standards of Accountability to ensure maximum protection to programme beneficiaries, and to welcome feedback.
∎ Undertake other related duties as may reasonably be assigned by the Country Director/Programmes Director or the line manager.

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 4-5 years progressively responsible professional work experience in the area of Professional Accounting or Internal Auditing.
∎ Detailed knowledge of current best practice in International financial and audit standards and regulations.
∎ Good understanding on organizational risk and control.
∎ Sound knowledge on current legal taxation and NGO Bureau regulation.
∎ Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English.
∎ Good understanding of development work in Bangladesh.
∎ Experience of working in international organization will be an added advantage.
