∎ Business or Social and Management Science graduate from any reputed University with a good academic result.

Job Context:
∎ All over the world girls are at risk because of their young age and their gender. They are at risk of being denied the opportunity to access a secondary education, to gain the skills and training they need to work and to exercise control over their sexual and reproductive health. They are at risk of being married before the age of 18. They are at risk of violence and harassment from men and boys in every space they occupy, including their home, their school, their refugee camp and their city.
∎ Plan International believes in the power and potential of every child. This is often suppressed by poverty, violence, exclusion and discrimination. Its girls who are most affected. Plan International`s Global Strategy aims to transform the lives of 100 million girls by implementing an integrated programme and influence approach. In view of that, the country programme is focusing towards a vision of empowering girls and young women, to be heard, to live without fear of violence and to achieve their rights.
∎ Resource Mobilization (RM) team is currently managing a numbers of project including Rohingya response projects in collaboration with the respective Technical Advisors, Project Managers and Divisional Managers and ensuring Plan`s and donors` requirements and compliances. Resource Mobilization team is busy in proposal development process which require huge documentation and relevant information. To support to RM team on grants management and proposal development process, we are looking for someone with learning attitude and enthusiasm to support the team to deliver a back support in the preparation and coordination of grants proposals, smooth grants management and grants tracking to avoid backlogs and activities to slipup.
∎ Objective of this internship programme: To provide the Bangladeshi students opportunity to apply theoretical concepts to real life situations. This is also an opportunity for the intern to develop his/her professional skills in the area of their interests and develop a pool of potential candidates for future vacancies. Duration of this internship programme is 3 months.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Specific responsibilities:
∎ I) Support to Prepare FAD and amendment FAD:
∎ Draft Funding Approval Document (FAD) stage 1,2 and 3 based on latest information
∎ Maintain FAD status tracking
∎ II) Support on online donor intelligence gathering and scoping on new opportunities.
∎ Intelligence on funding opportunities are shared with BDM for further action and next steps
∎ III) Support BDM to conduct proposal develop workshop and gathering information as requested:
∎ Work closely with program team and technical leads on ongoing proposal development initiatives
∎ Archives, past documents, emails
∎ IV) Grants archive update and maintenance:
∎ Open and close archive folders and hard copy folder
∎ Updates latest copies of reports and other finalized documents
∎ V) Provide support to the Business Development team as directed (for example, updating data, support to setting up meetings, note taking etc.)
∎ Another important task is to update close grants files by putting all information and reports, which is a huge amount of tasks. Apart from all, BD Intern will also help RM department in day-to-day work.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Excellent written and spoken English language skills.
∎ Experienced user of basic computer programmes (Microsoft Office - Excel, Word) and research tools, as well as internet/search engines.
∎ Young, motivated, ability to take initiative, work under pressure situation without losing composure and ability to meet deadlines.

Salary:
∎ Tk. 15000 (Monthly)
∎ Remuneration: Taka 15,000/- (fifteen thousand) only consolidated per month and other admissible allowances.
