Responsibilities & Context:
Responsibilities
Machine setup: Prepare and set up injection molding machines according to blueprints and design directions for each production run. This includes adjusting speed, pressure, and temperature settings.
Operation and monitoring: Operate machines to produce plastic parts, monitor production for quality, and ensure specifications are met.
Quality control: Perform quality checks on finished products, inspect for defects, and make necessary adjustments. They may also pack parts and record production data.
Maintenance and troubleshooting: Perform basic cleaning and maintenance on equipment. They are responsible for troubleshooting and resolving minor issues that arise during production; for larger problems, they notify a mechanic.
Material handling: Manage the feeding of raw materials into the machine.
Safety: Follow all safety and quality standards to maintain a safe work environment.
Housekeeping: Keep the work area clean and organized.
