Responsibilities & Context:
A reputed 100% Export Oriented CAP’s/HAT’s manufacturing garments Factory located at Gazipur is looking for an enthusiastic professional who can ensure execution of cutting production plan as on time accurate cutting and appropriate input supply to Sewing by reviewing customer guidelines. Also, work closely with all concern departments to maintain a friendly and motivated team to ensure smooth workflow.
- Develop, review and implement department SOP’s, flowcharts, and Quality policy.
- Set monthly and yearly targets such as cutting efficiency rate, DHU rate, final inspection pass rate and more. Communicate goals clearly through meeting, Notice and training sessions.
- Collect cutting production plans and booking sheets to prepare the master cutting plan aligned with shipment schedules. Also, share daily, weekly and monthly plans with the team to ensure clarity and timely execution.
- Ensure all pre-cutting procedures are followed including dia, GSM check, Fabrics relaxation, shrinkage and fit tests, shade segregation and trial cutting.
- Co-ordinate with planning, Warehouse, QA Fabrics and Print/Embroidery Departments to ensure timely receipt of approved fabrics and smooth input/output processes.
- Ensure proper maintenance, usage and traceability of cutting equipment, raw materials and tools.
- Fabric wastage control & cut to input optimum ratio maintain by properly fabric with utilization.
- Prepare production reports and provide feedback to senior management for continuous improvement.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, compliance requirements and maintain discipline in the Department.
- Any other assignment not specifically mentioned above that the Management deems necessary.
