Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Job description:
∎ The key role of the HSWA will be to manage or facilitate all types of group-level activities.
∎ Collect data for self-support groups and their family
∎ Work for federation strengthening activities and institutionalization of mental health program
∎ Closely supervise the Mental Motivator’s work
∎ Rising awareness among group members on mental health and human rights
∎ Encourage group members to receive govt social safety net service. Refer complicated patients for therapy and treatment
∎ Maintain all necessary documents maintaining confidentiality and recall system for those clients who may need follow-up.
∎ Plan, organize, participated and facilitated various workshops, trainings, meetings and surveys (baseline or end line) according to project proposalCarry out home and follow-up visits to patients
∎ Participate in SSG meetings and federation periodical meetings and give updateParticipate in the different surveys or assessments like PHQ-9 or stigma survey
∎ Organized govt health staff trainingConduct home visits for family counseling and self-care,
∎ Maintain close contact with Upazila level govt health staff, NGO staff Conduct community awareness on Leprosy, Physical disability and filariasis.
∎ Distribute IEC materials such as posturing, leaflets, and stickers.
∎ Assign any duty given by the Supervisor.
