Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Oversee the program, Finance, and administration at district level. ·
∎ Program planning and implementation according to budget.
∎ Supportive supervision to under jurisdiction.·
∎ Mobilize and Manage a team consisting of Community Champions at the grassroots level. ·
∎ Conduct monthly performance monitoring meetings with staffs/volunteers.
∎ Ensure quality of training/orientation on Leprosy, LF to CC.
∎ Manage IEC activities and make aware about LF and leprosy disease for health promotion and disease prevention.·
∎ Recommend bill vouchers and justify the expenses.·
∎ Ensure administrative support to the field level.·
∎ Provide regular field visits and provide feedback to staff/volunteers.·
∎ Provide case study as target.·
∎ Ensure SHG activities are running smoothly.·
∎ Organized advocacy meetings with different stakeholders in the Sub-District level.·
∎ Follow-up SCP group consists by people affected by LF & Leprosy.·
∎ Provide special protective footwear to appropriate clients·
∎ Support to do KAP & FGD·
∎ Refer surgical cases to hospital according to target as guidance by management.·
∎ Any other duty assigned by project management.Provide supervision: Supervision and monitoring to community volunteers.
∎ Contract Duration: Nine (9) months
∎ The position of Area Supervisor is field and entrusted for project implementation under guidance of the supervisor and following the project budget. S/He will work with a team at the grassroots level for the implementation of LF and Leprosy activities as per the monthly action plan for the assigned district/areas. S/He will support the supervisor for regular coordination linkage with government and non-government offices as well as staff. S/He will also support monitoring field activities, collect data and information, prepare reports as and when is necessary, and submit them to the supervisor on regular basis. S/He will maintain documentation and validation of all bills/vouchers following expenses incurred for any activities and/or services.
∎ Close contact: Government department/office: DC, CS, UNO, UHFPO & other departments (GO & NGO) based on project & organization interest.
