Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Design and optimize factory layouts to ensure maximum utilization of resources.
∎ Oversee and manage Wet and Dry process operations, from sample development to bulk production.
∎ Ensure smooth execution of wash (R&D) processes, meeting buyer specifications and shipment schedules.
∎ Minimize production costs while maintaining and enhancing quality standards.
∎ Implement measures to ensure cost-effective production processes.
∎ Establish quality control mechanisms across all washing units and processes.
∎ Manage Dry Process, Wet Process, and Wash R&D requirements across various brands.
∎ Develop and execute samples with required washes/treatments, providing multiple options for buyers.
∎ Analyze wash R&D needs to align with market trends and buyer demands.
∎ Introduce and operationalize technical advancements in washing systems and processes.
∎ Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all washing plant operations, from start to finish.
∎ Ensure compliance with industry standards and buyer requirements in all processes.
∎ Estimate and manage factory overheads to optimize operational efficiency.
∎ Collaborate with washing units, providing washing specifications and conducting regular quality checks.
∎ Act as the point of contact for buyer communication related to washing specifications and requirements.
∎ Prepare and manage annual revenue and cost budgets for the washing division.
∎ Monitor financial performance, ensuring adherence to budgeted targets.
∎ Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement initiatives to improve profitability.
∎ Lead and develop the washing team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
