Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor's or Master's in Business, Finance, Accounting or related areas.
∎ Part qualified / Qualified ACCA or CA
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Manage tax compliance and reporting matters which include, but not limited to, withholding taxes (TDS & VDS), income tax, VAT, payroll taxation, transfer pricing documentation and ensure all the timely filings.
∎ Identify Tax & VAT planning and saving opportunities to reduce tax cost within the legal framework
∎ Keep ahead of tax / regulatory development via proactive industry engagement/relationship with the regulators, etc. and update all the stakeholders on tax changes which impact the Company's business.
∎ Identify risks and opportunities as well as, manage and optimize the Company's tax positions in a compliant and sustainable manner.
∎ Provide analysis, guidance and recommendation of tax positions revolving around the Company's business operations, new business initiatives, as well as commercial and contractual documents.
∎ Partner with leadership / business / regional teams to develop and lead tax strategies to achieve business objectives.
∎ Advising different departments/ functions of the Company for tax implications on different transactions/ payments/ foreign remittances, etc.
∎ Manage monthly Tax and VAT provisioning and accounting related work for postings in the ERP system.
∎ Preparing monthly reports regarding Tax & VAT for reporting.
∎ Deal with tax authorities as necessary in relation to audits, negotiations and disputes, including reviewing of tax authority responses, advising on positions to be taken
∎ Making liaison with the tax consultants, lawyers and auditors for audit, tax and legal matters of the company.
∎ Collect AIT certificates and related documents and reconcile them with the accounting records.
∎ Working closely with Teams on projects
∎ Other tasks as assigned by Management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 23 years
∎ Candidates will prior accounting / audit firm experience will be given preference
∎ At Least 5 years of experience in a relevant field.
∎ Demonstrable knowledge in statutory reporting requirements and IFRS standards
∎ Excellent Communication skills
∎ Hard working, adaptable person with ability to work independently and proactively
∎ Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in performing job duties
∎ Structured problem solver ability with excellent analytical and organizational skills
∎ Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Salary: Tk. 70000 (Monthly)
