Job Responsibilities:
∎ This role will focus on:
∎ Providing counselling and mental health support for students.
∎ Acting as the Designated Person for Student Protection in the College.
∎ Will provide a range of services to the students which includes support for social, emotional and academic issues on a need basis or via referral, such as:
∎ One-on-one counseling, including, but not limited to:
∎ Goal setting, interpersonal relationships, academic planning, understanding of self, conflict resolution
∎ Small group counseling
∎ Mediation
∎ Classroom guidance counseling to deal with a time appropriate area of social/emotional concern within a team
∎ Evaluating possible problems in students through conversations, interviews, and observations
∎ Encouraging students to discuss emotional issues with high confidentiality
∎ Working directly with students to develop solutions and set achievable goals
∎ Event Responsibilities:
∎ Plan and manage the annual student event calendar, liaise with key event organizing stakeholders (external and internal teams) to ensure smooth event execution

Additional Requirements:
∎ Prospective candidates should have a combination of counselling background and student management experience.
∎ Candidates with psychology / mental health support educational qualifications will be preferred.

Salary:
∎ Negotiable
∎ Salary will be commensurate with experience and industry standards.
