Experience:

• Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS) in Accounting
• Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS) in Finance

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from a reputed institution.
• Professional certifications such as CA, CIA, CPA, or equivalent are mandatory.

• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Manufacturing (FMCG)

• Age 35 to 50 years

• At least 05 to 10 years of progressive experience in Internal Audit, preferably in manufacturing industries or FMCG.
• Demonstrated experience leading an Internal Audit function is highly desirable.
• Strong familiarity with digital audit tools, ERP systems, and data-driven control strategies.
• In-depth knowledge of audit methodologies, risk-based auditing, regulatory frameworks, and corporate governance.
• Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional communication and report writing abilities.
• Ability to work independently and engage effectively with executive management and board-level stakeholders.
• Strong ethical standards and the ability to foster a culture of accountability and transparency.

About the Role:

Quasem Industries PLC. (QIP) is inviting applications from dynamic, experienced, and forward-thinking professionals for the position of Head of Internal Audit and Compliance. This strategic role is pivotal in enhancing the company's governance, risk management, and internal control environment to align with global best practices and support QIP’s sustainable growth and digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive Internal Audit Plan based on risk assessment.
• Conduct independent audits, investigations, and assessments across all key functions including finance, operations, procurement, HR, IT, and compliance.
• Identify control weaknesses, inefficiencies, and non-compliance, and provide actionable recommendations to management and the Board.
• Evaluate business processes for efficiency, effectiveness, regulatory compliance, and risk exposure.
• Ensure that the financial statements are being prepared in compliance with IFRS, IAS, FRC, and BSEC guidelines.
• Investigate and report on instances of fraud, irregularities, and operational inefficiencies; support management in implementing corrective actions.
• Facilitate organizational risk management practices, maintain a detailed risk register, and ensure appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Promote the integration of cybersecurity, digital tools, and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) metrics within internal audit reviews.
• Establish, manage, and monitor a whistleblower mechanism and ethical compliance framework.
• Provide regular, independent assurance to the Audit Committee and the Board of Directors.
• Support and advise senior management on control enhancements, new initiatives, and strategic improvements.
• This position reports directly to the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors.
