Job Responsibilities:
∎ Be a Category Head and take full responsibility for all matters related to all industries including underlying categories, operational, financial and technological matters.
∎ Can work successfully to meet sales targets and KPIs
∎ Have a comprehensive understanding of industry including trends, hot products, key sources of products, and which products to sell and when. Identify the key products and merchants who can bring the best sales returns.
∎ Enable internal and external stakeholders to maximize sales on Let’s Go Mart via a consultative approach, using industry data trends to drive engagement and product innovation.
∎ Coordinate with marketing team to co-develop marketing and promotion strategies for campaigns and normal sales.
∎ Have detailed insights of the competition, demand, suppliers and product trends.
∎ Lead comprehensive understanding of plan-o-gram insights and assortment to help identify and drive strategic sales opportunities, customer growth objectives, price point analyses and enhanced customer engagement.
∎ Map, strategize and mobilize untapped markets for Categories within the defined regions with a specific inclination towards brands, retail and international markets.
∎ Actively grow business by driving category teams to implement strategic initiatives and processes to reach business plan goals.
∎ Develop and execute project plans for the launch of new brands, products and segments.
∎ Develop and source foreign company, seller, exporter or web page to create collaboration. (For Fashion Category)
∎ Collaborate with departments and channels across the organization to deliver on targets
∎ Proactively develop collaborative relationships with our brand and seller partners to be viewed as a trusted resource for category insights and objective growth opportunities
∎ Proactively builds insights to help educate and influence sales strategy at an internal organizational level with a specific focus on marketing and operations
Additional Requirements:
∎ Experience as category department head have the ability to manage a team.
∎ Strong analytical acumen and ability to generate and evaluate analysis, to identify opportunities and gaps - form actionable insights and recommendations.
∎ Entrepreneurial, driven and self-motivated attitude to quickly dive deep into content to determine root causes of problems and implement scalable solutions.
∎ Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and efficiently
∎ Tenacity to develop ideas independently and thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment.
∎ Superb business acumen with a desire to manage your own business
∎ A proven track record of successful negotiations and relationship management (both internally and externally).
∎ Excellent organizational communication skills.
∎ Capable of foreign communications.

∎ Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
∎ Ability to interact with a broad set of businesses and stakeholders and presentation skills.
