Educational Requirements:
∎ Master of Commerce (M. Com)/ MBA major in Accounting/ Finance from a reputed Public/ Private/ Dhaka University.
∎ Candidates with CA / ACA / FCA / ACMA / FCMA qualifications are expected.
∎ Sound knowledge of IPPF, IIA Standards, Country's laws and regulations, Risk management, Finance, Accounts, and Compliance.
∎ Practical experience on Income Tax and VAT help to be relaxed on academic qualifications.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Supervise the business operations analysis to find potential for growth, cost-cutting, and system improvements and collect funds to finance expansion.
∎ Monitor the planning of the financial strategy by estimating the needs for capital, facilities, and employees, locating financial resources, and action plans.
∎ Participate in critical decisions as a member of the executive management team.
∎ Oversee the development of the Group's annual operational and capital budgets and the budgeting process.
∎ Supervise the cash flow projection process and reporting structure that includes minimum cash threshold to meet operational needs.
∎ Monitor the financial forecasts, reporting results, variances, and developing improvements.
∎ Understand and mitigate key elements of the company's financial risk profile.
∎ Monitor the record-keeping to meet the requirements of stakeholders and concerned regulatory authorities.
∎ Supervise the monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports with all applicable Financial Accounting Standards, Internal Revenue Service, and other relevant regulations.
∎ Supervise the analysis of company liabilities and investments and evaluate and manage capital structure and fundraising initiatives.
∎ Monitoring & reviewing the Financial Statement (Monthly, Quarterly, Yearly);
∎ Minutely oversee the Tax Assessment of company(s) and Individual according to Income Tax Ordinance 1984;
∎ Monitoring the assessment of the fixed asset register and recording all asset-related transactions.
∎ Monitor the calculating and withholding of Tax on different types of goods and services of the company according to Income Tax Ordinance 1984;
∎ Monitor the calculating and withholding of VAT on different kinds of goods and services of the company.
∎ Monitor the depositing of deducted Tax and VAT to Govt. Exchequer within the time limit.
∎ Communicating and correspondence with different Government authorities and regulatory bodies etc.;
∎ Oversee the company-wise annual audited and management financial report considering the requirements of bank loan and income tax, VAT authority, and debt-equity ratio.
∎ Oversee the project-wise profit/loss account as a civil and dredging-based contractor company.
∎ Oversee the unit-wise costing of finished goods of various manufacturing companies.
∎ Preparation of various reports according to management requirements; Maintain proper compliance per the Bangladesh Income Tax Ordinance and VAT Act.
∎ Facilitating income tax & vat assessment by arranging all the documents as requisitioned by the DCT, Customs, and Commissioner VAT and drafting assessment orders with the respective tax authority.
∎ Monitoring the administering appeal, Tribunal at different appeal authorities.
∎ Monitoring the preparation of all Vat papers regularly and information data requests.
∎ Developing risk analysis and mitigation strategy from a compliance point of view.
∎ Tax audit coordination with tax authorities, external auditors, external credit reporting company and consultants for all tax matters.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 45 years
∎ 15 years plus practical experience are expected
∎ 3-5 years as CFO in the current organization

∎ Sound knowledge about Income Tax and VAT
∎ Working knowledge in MS Word, Excel, Power points.
