Job Responsibilities:
∎ Overall responsibility of Merchandising Department.
∎ Develop marketing strategy to attract new buyers.
∎ Responsible for creating new market and opportunities for the company.
∎ Able to develop new product as per the requirement of the buyer.
∎ Communicate with overseas buyer's office regularly & follow up as per their provided program independently.
∎ Taking care of marketing & merchandising, responsible for merchandising & production management, including sample, fit & Production approval, fabric & trim approval, testing, gold seals, works with QA’s for timely inspection & delivery, update the buyer & the production status.
∎ Garments costing, corresponding & dealing with foreign buyer as well as local buyer agent independently from inquiry up to shipment.
∎ Able to solved the problems and organized the task (Time & Action calendar) to meet the dead line.
∎ Analyzed the market trends and buyer requirement, and developed creative and innovative sample that would differentiate our clients’ products in the marketplace of my own responsibility.
∎ Coordinates with buyers for approval of fabrics, strike off, lab dips, trims, lab testing etc.
∎ Conducted regularly meeting once a week with production planning dept. and production management department with a view to update the daily activities.
∎ Tracks development and production merchandising issues. follow up of trims & fabrics delivers to make sure in house on time with good quality the daily activities.
∎ Worked with team to establish seasonal business goals, product categories, pricing and TIME & ACTION calendar.
∎ Reviews analysis and uses quality performance data recorded by production coordinators’ to assist QA officers and assembles reports charts and data compilations to clarify and communicate information.
∎ Make training programmed to get adequate knowledge of merchandising policies to the merchandiser.
