Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Commerce (BCom), Master of Commerce (MCom)
∎ Must have strong knowledge of excel & fluency is desirable in English.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Accounting
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Knowledge of general accounting (debits vs. credits) and ability to verify correctness and completeness of information.
∎ Analyzing and recording all appropriate debit and credit adjustments.
∎ Monitoring and analyzing accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.
∎ Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies and principles.
∎ Oversee accurate, timely and complete journal information for the recording of reconciling the appropriate accounts.
∎ Experience in overall Foreign Exchange Department.
∎ Candidates are expected to independently handle foreign exchange department.
∎ They should possess sound knowledge in the area of Negotiation / Discount of Bills, Opening of LCs, imports and exports and other related areas.
∎ Conversant with credit appraisal process, analysis of financial statement, ratio analysis, credit risk grading (CRG) techniques, borrower selection process etc.
∎ Support the Reconciliation system with information regarding all relevant financial and operating issues.
∎ Completing daily, weekly and monthly reconciliations, along with research and follow through of reconciled items, for assigned accounts.
∎ Adhere to established procedures for compliance and efficiency in an effort to reduce outstanding items and bank service charges.
∎ Responsible for the identification, accounting and reporting of information related to the reconciliations performed.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ 2 to 3 years direct experience in a corporate accounting environment is highly desired.
∎ Navigation through computerized accounting system to gather/observe ledger information.
∎ Ability to seek out relevant information from others (i.e. co-workers, other employees in the Field, banks, etc.)
∎ Must have strong knowledge of Excel & fluency in English is desirable.
∎ Maintain a strong focus on details.
∎ Must have Bachelor degree/ Master's degree in commerce background from any reputed University.
∎ Overall knowledge on required guidelines for Foreign Exchange transactions etc.
