Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters in any discipline (Experience in the relevant field may be relaxed for most deserving /qualified candidates).
∎ Graduate in Agricultural Science or Master in Biological Science will get advantage.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Overall leadership of the company & subsidiaries. To have futuristic mission, vision, acumen to formulate strategy, plan and policy for maximizing profit of the company.
∎ Manage all top to bottom business operation efficiently in order to meet the financial objectives of the company.
∎ Maintain strong relationship with Top Level Govt./Non-govt. & relevant personnel. Maintain liaison with foreign principals to get product in time, in a modest price.
∎ Crop protection chemical business of the company including sales, resource planning, collection, developing business and make an effective communication plan etc. And subsequently to explore and organize other business opportunities vis-a-vis Micronutrients, Fertilizer, Seed, Floriculture, Aquaculture, Animal Health as soon as possible. To be specific - the incumbent will be completely responsible for Sales & Marketing, Credit Control, Recovery, Distribution, Realization, Budgeting, Sales Policy Review & Update etc. and ZERO TOLERANCE ON OVER DUES.
∎ Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing Annual Sales Target for Zones, Divisions, Regions, Areas and Territories; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products. Implement national sales programs by developing field Sales & Marketing action plans.
∎ Maintains sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators and competitors. Establishes and adjusts selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, supply and demand.
∎ Guide / implement the Sales Team under your supervision in execution of their Sales & Marketing task and activities for achieving the team's monthly, quarterly and yearly KPI. To conduct training of new Sales & Marketing Force joining the team.
∎ Carryout detail market survey and ascertain own strength and weaknesses with a view to develop proper Sales & Marketing plan/ strategy.
∎ Communicate to different vendors for various Sales & Marketing activities, providing assistance in organizing technical seminars/ workshop.
∎ Formulate strategies to outwit other market players. Also, to promote the products, thus increasing sale & Marketing and recovery of Agro Products to a greater height.
∎ Monitor/ identify the grey areas (Division/ Region/Territory) / outstanding out of policy and giving early warning/ indication to the Creditors / Distributors.
∎ Oversee warehouse operations and develop and implement a logistics process.
∎ Strong ability to take hands on leadership role for the Sales, Customer Service, Branding, Marketing & Recovery activities of the company.
∎ Be well-informed about market developments, competitor activities and provide feedback to Management.
∎ Any other assignment not detailed herein & felt conducive by Management as and when necessary.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age: Around 45 years (May be relaxed for most deserving/qualified candidates).
∎ Practical experience of implementing and running the sale & recovery concept of Bangladesh Pesticide Industry would be an added advantage. Excellent leadership, managerial capability, convincing and negotiation skill.
∎
∎ Should be self motivated, energetic & capable to work under pressure and have excellent oral and written English & Bengali communication skill. Good Command over MS Office/Computer. Willing to travel across country is required.
