Responsibilities & Context:
Staff and leadership
Hire, train, and supervise employees to ensure they provide excellent customer service.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to staff.
Motivate and lead the team to achieve sales goals and other key performance indicators (KPIs).
Develop employee schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels.
Operations and finance
Manage daily store operations, including ensuring the store is clean and presentable.
Oversee inventory levels, stock, and ordering to prevent shortages or overstocking.
Develop and manage budgets, control costs, and analyze sales and financial data.
Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure quality products and timely deliveries.
Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations.
Sales and customer service
Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and achieve targets.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by resolving complaints and maintaining service standards.
Monitor market trends, new products, and competitors to stay competitive.
Promote the store and its products through marketing and community involvement.
