Responsibilities & Context:
Staff and leadership
- Hire, train, and supervise employees to ensure they provide excellent customer service.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to staff.
- Motivate and lead the team to achieve sales goals and other key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Develop employee schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels.
Operations and finance
- Manage daily store operations, including ensuring the store is clean and presentable.
- Oversee inventory levels, stock, and ordering to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Develop and manage budgets, control costs, and analyze sales and financial data.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure quality products and timely deliveries.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations.
Sales and customer service
- Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and achieve targets.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by resolving complaints and maintaining service standards.
- Monitor market trends, new products, and competitors to stay competitive.
- Promote the store and its products through marketing and community involvement.
