Experience:

• 10 to 15 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments

• Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg)

• Bachelor/Honors degree. Applicants having a degree in Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Textile Engineering is preffered.

• The applicants should have experience in renowned knit garments Industries.

• Good multi product knowledge in knit garments, especially CVC fleece and cotton t-shirts. 
• Excellent communication in English.
• Punctual time management. 
• Should have experience in shade separation, shade integrity and shrinkage.
• Should be experienced and capable of managing minimum 10 sewing lines and full knowledge of production system for knit fabric & garments.
• Should have knowledge regards to production efficiency, manpower utilization and IE.
• Candidate having exposure to Lean Manufacturing will be given preference.
• Ability to work as a team leader and do multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Quick decision making skill in any situation. Well-disciplined and productivity focused.
• Problem solver of all technical issues.
• Responsibilities & Context
• The applicants should have experience in the area of sample assessment, pattern making, production and garment construction skills Knowledge of modern and updated quality assurance procedures and techniques.
• Develop the sewing standard and SOP for sewing floor for achieving the planned production target and required quality of the garments.
• Follow-up and ensure production from fabric to accessories and sewing to finishing to ensure to meet the shipment schedule without fail.
• Responsible for operation and operational staff control and management.
• Work for 100% capacity utilization and waste reduction.
• Manage production, material and machinery planning according to orders.
• Manage all tasks for smooth production, smooth final inspection pass, and on-time shipment.
• Follow up the production of the running order and give the guideline to the subordinates for smooth operation between all departments.
• Work closely with concerned departments from the development stage in order to foresee production bottlenecks & quality problems.
• Closely monitor sewing and finishing for getting the best possible output and giving direction on the floor.
• Check manpower costing of each floor and try to keep manpower cost under control.
• Strictly follow up hourly production and work for increasing.
• Lead all production staff from the front and have good command on them.
• Ensure complete tasks to make finished goods from raw materials.
• Achieve maximum production by the lowest cost.
• Guide planning team for increasing production.
• Communicate with top management directly when needed in any issues of his garments factory.
• Attends pre-production meetings and ensures that important points are discussed at meetings.
• Plan shipment dispatch with documentation and shipping department.
• To motivate employees and enrich their knowledge in certain areas, a training program is arranged by him.
• Understand and maintain compliance (Social, Technical, Health & safety) in sewing operation and in the Sewing section.
• Also involved in hiring people to ensure that only the right personnel are employed to the company.
