Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Assist in planning and executing capacity-building workshops, innovation bootcamps and incubation programs.
∎ Support the implementation of pilot projects in climate-vulnerable areas, ensuring gender and youth inclusivity.
∎ Develop innovative green business models with a gender-responsive lens.
∎ Collaborate with innovators and the Advisory Panel to provide mentorship and technical support to women- and youth-led enterprises.
∎ Work closely with community leaders, women’s groups and youth organizations to ensure grassroots participation in the project.
∎ Organize awareness campaigns to promote gender inclusion in climate action.
∎ Track the progress of project activities and report on gender-responsive outputs and outcomes.
∎ Collect data on pilot projects and innovations, ensuring they align with project goals.
∎ Assist in drafting policy briefs, social media content and advocacy materials focused on gender-responsive climate solutions.
∎ Support advocacy campaigns and high-level dialogues by providing logistical and content support.

The major focus area of The Earth is Youth development through various engagement, skill & entrepreneurship development and engaging youth to become responsive and combat Climate Change.
∎ In collaboration with the Asia Foundation Bangladesh, 'Green Voices' project aims to bridge the gap between policy and grassroots innovation by engaging policymakers, development partners, private sector with women and youth in climate action. Inspired by the vision of 'A World of Three Zeros'—zero poverty, zero unemployment, and zero net carbon emissions—this project seeks to foster inclusive, sustainable development through women and youth empowerment in climate action.
∎ Position Overview:
∎ The Gender Inclusion and Innovation Officer will play a critical role in ensuring the successful integration of gender perspectives and innovation within the climate advocacy and green entrepreneurship initiative. This position will focus on empowering women and youth through green business models, social enterprises and climate resilience solutions advocacy campaign.
∎ Key Responsibilities:

∎ Gender & Innovation Focus:
∎ Develop innovative green business models with a gender-responsive lens.
∎ Collaborate with innovators and the Advisory Panel to provide mentorship and technical support to women- and youth-led enterprises.
∎ Community Engagement:
∎ Work closely with community leaders, women’s groups and youth organizations to ensure grassroots participation in the project.

∎ Monitoring & Evaluation:
∎ Track the progress of project activities and report on gender-responsive outputs and outcomes.
∎ Collect data on pilot projects and innovations, ensuring they align with project goals.
∎ Advocacy Support:
∎ Assist in drafting policy briefs, social media content and advocacy materials focused on gender-responsive climate solutions.
∎ Support advocacy campaigns and high-level dialogues by providing logistical and content support.
∎ Any other tasks that are assigned by the supervisor.
