Job Context:
∎ Caritas Bangladesh (CB) is a national and non-profit development organization operating in Bangladesh since 1967. It has its Central Office in Dhaka and eight Regional Offices (Barishal, Chattogram, Dhaka, Dinajpur, Khulna, Mymensingh, Rajshahi and Sylhet Region). CB is implementing 89 on-going projects covering 189 Upazilas focusing on six main priorities i.e i) Social Welfare for Vulnerable Communities (SWVC), ii) Education and Child Development, iii) Nutrition and Health Education, iv) Disaster Management, v) Ecological Conservation and Food Security (ECFS), and vi) Development of Indigenous Peoples.
∎ Caritas Bangladesh (CB), Cox`s Bazar office is looking for suitable candidate for an immediate appointment as well as to prepare a panel list for Emergency Response to the Forcibly Displaced People of Myanmar in Bangladesh.
∎ The details of the position including job responsibilities, educational qualification and other qualities /competency required for the above positions are given below for your information:
∎ Job Location : Caritas Bangladesh Upazila Office, Ukhiya, Cox`s Bazar.
∎ Job Nature : Temporary

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure that all data collection (paper and electronic) reporting tools and used accurately every day and then stored in a confidential manner from the field level.
∎ Assist to prepare a questionnaire, field testing before data collection coordination with a caseworker, GBVIMS focal person, PSS offer, and MEAL officer under the proper guidance of MEAL Manager, PC and Protection manager.
∎ Collect the required data and put a mechanism in place for data management.
∎ Field visit at project area as per the demand of the project and make an individual plan for collecting data for project monitoring purposes.
∎ Assist to conduct baseline survey, Midline and End-line surveys on family profile of the project working/ implementing area to MEAL and PC.
∎ Assist to Conduct FGD, Post Distribution Monitoring (PDM), Exit Interview, Light Monitoring and Distribution Monitoring for ongoing activities under the guidance of MEAL and PC.
∎ Sync daily data collected through IT and GBV case management data through GBVIMS system and maintain the incident recorder of GBVIMS and support in data cleaning.
∎ Report the accomplished activities for M&E officers, Project Coordinator up on request and at a timely manner
∎ Report daily on the activities conducted and issues encountered to supervisors and implement any recommendations as suggested by the program team.
∎ Assist to conduct all kinds of research activities, study/evaluation process, and data compilation and provide necessary support in preparation of study/evaluation report of Project to MEAL team as well as project team.
∎ Conduct regular field visits to support the implementation of activities with caseworkers giving support, assistant to follow up survivors, GBV case management client feedback survey and referral work as part of the monitoring process and collecting data in a confidential manner.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Only females are allowed to apply
∎ Experience in conducting surveys and assessments and data collection for protection programs (preferably related to emergency context/Rohingya context);
∎ Minimum of one (1) year experience preferably with NGO.
∎ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
∎ Experience in mobile data collection technology, Comcare, Kobo toolbox an advantage.
∎ Basic computer knowledge on MS Word, Excel, Access, and database software, including knowledge of pivot table/chart and data analysis.
∎ Age : Maximum 40 years (as on 31.1.2022)

Salary: Tk. 29000 (Monthly)
