Educational Requirements:
∎ Master in Agricultural sciences, Agronomy, Veterinary, Socio-economic, Rural development, Anthropology, Geography, International development.
∎ Master’s degree with coursework in environmental and/or climate change science or at least eight years’ experience in similar/equivalent position

∎ The role of Head of Department, Food Security Livelihoods and Disaster Risk Reduction is to guarantee quality, relevance & scaling of mission`s FSL & DRR strategy & interventions, with a focus on locations vulnerable to natural disasters & the effects of climate change, in conformity with AAH and international
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 6 years of proven work experience in implementing and managing food security-based, livelihood and cash and voucher assistance programs or projects in both development and emergency contexts;
∎ Experience with evaluations and monitoring as well as Program Cycle Management; Experience with donor communications;
∎ Experience with research and partnership developments with universities; private sector, CSO, Cooperatives, Women and Youth groups etc.
∎ Demonstrated previous experience in and strong proposal writing and donor reporting skills;
∎ Demonstrated experience in financial management and preparation of budgets for programming.
∎ Demonstrated professionalism and a positive work ethic in all situations with coworkers, project managers, and project participants.
∎ Demonstrated strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills with the ability to learn quickly, adapt to changing environments, and work
∎ Experience in facilitating multi-stakeholder negotiations and engagement (i.e consortium development) is desirable
∎ Excellent communications skills with strong ability to read and write and comprehended in English and Bengali.
∎ Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff from various background and technical capacities.
∎ Excellent analytical, problem solving and management skills, with a strong sense of problem solving capacity.
∎ Clear understanding of child and gender protection issues in the field; proven management and coordination skills (HR, projects, and stress management).
∎ Proven ability to translate analysis and evaluation into operational planning and strategy.
Salary: Tk. 187000 (Monthly)
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Festival Bonus: 02 basic salary per year.
∎ Provident Fund: 7.5% of Basic Salary.
∎ End of Contract Benefits: End of Contract Benefits: 30 days of salary per year of service (No eligibility pro-rated under 1 year)
∎ Medical coverage: 80% hospitalization coverage medical expenses (max limit BDT 120,000 per year).
∎ Life and accident insurance from joining day
∎ Maternity Benefit: 3 (three) basic salary.
∎ Birth Allowance, Marriage Allowance, etc.
