Job Responsibilities:
∎ As a Frontend Developer at Komet, you will be responsible for the following:
∎ Collaborating with our design team to implement user interfaces that are visually appealing, responsive, and provide an excellent user experience.
∎ Utilizing your proficiency in Figma to translate design concepts into functional and interactive web applications.
∎ Implementing advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks, including but not limited to three.js, p5.js, GSAP, animate.js, and Barba.js.
∎ Working primarily in Next.js, but also having the flexibility to work with React.js as needed.
∎ Collaborating with backend developers to integrate frontend components with server-side logic.
∎ Contributing to the overall architecture and design decisions of the frontend.
∎ Staying updated on the latest industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our applications remain cutting-edge.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 20 years
∎ Proven experience as a Frontend Developer or similar role.
∎ Strong proficiency in advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks (three.js, p5.js, GSAP, animate.js, Barba.js).
∎ Experience working with design tools, particularly Figma.
∎ Solid understanding of responsive design principles.
∎ Familiarity with Next.js and React.js is a strong plus.
∎ Experience working with databases such as MongoDB or SQL.
∎ Fullstack development experience is highly desirable.
∎ Detail-oriented with a passion for delivering high-quality code.
∎ Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
∎ Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
∎ Must be able to communicate in English. We do weekly code reviews over Zoom for our developers so all members must be able to communicate appropriately.
