Responsibilities & Context:
Collecting food orders from restaurant.
Operating a vehicle (car) safely and adhering to all traffic laws.
Using GPS or mobile apps to plan the most efficient route and meet delivery deadlines.
Ensuring food items remain secure and at the correct temperature to maintain freshness and safety.
Contacting customers or the restaurant/dispatch regarding any delays, issues, or to confirm delivery details.
Providing courteous and friendly customer service when handing off the order.
Performing pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and ensuring the delivery vehicle is clean and well-maintained.
Addressing minor issues like traffic delays, difficulty locating an address, or order discrepancies on the fly.
