Experience:

• Valid driver’s license appropriate for the operation of mini-fire trucks.

• At least two (2) years of driving experience, preferably with emergency vehicles or in a similar operational environment.

• Basic knowledge of fire safety and firefighting techniques is an asset.

• Experience with a humanitarian organization is a plus, and particularly experience in the field of firefighting.

• Good communication skills, organizational, and reporting skills.

• Ability to learn quickly.

Language:

• Fluency in English, Bangla, and the local language of Rohingya Refugees (Rakhine State.)

• Safe operation and maintenance of mini-fire trucks stationed at satellite fire stations.

• Safely operate mini-fire trucks during emergency and non-emergency responses.

• Respond promptly to fire alarms and emergencies as directed by the Site management assistant/Incident commander

• Assist in fire suppression, rescue, and evacuation operations as a member of the firefighting team.

• Perform routine checks and basic maintenance on assigned vehicles and equipment to ensure operational readiness.

• Refuel, clean, and inspect mini-fire trucks regularly, reporting any faults or required repairs immediately.

• Participate in regular training, drills, and exercises as directed.

• Maintain accurate fire vehicle and equipment logs.

• Support fire prevention activities and community outreach as required.

• Comply with all safety protocols and organizational procedures.

• Carry out any other related duties as assigned by the supervisor

• Monthly gross salary for this position is BDT 61,880.
