Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Review and process claims for home health care services, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.
∎ Verify patient eligibility and benefits for services rendered.
∎ Collaborate with healthcare providers to obtain necessary documentation for claims processing.
∎ Resolve discrepancies or denials by communicating with patients, providers, and insurance companies.
∎ Maintain accurate records of claims, payments, and correspondence.
∎ Stay updated on industry regulations and changes in insurance policies affecting claims processing.
∎ Assist in training and supporting new team members as needed.
∎ Generate and analyze reports related to claims processing metrics.
∎ Conduct e-fax, email, call hospital/Doctor office and constantly communicate with the patient.
∎ Provide analysis of financial data and performance measuers, trend analysis and the monitoring of key financial metrics. Prepare reports for CEO and senior managment , including reqruiting reports and ad hoc reports.
∎ Partners with the Director of Reimbursment and Director of Revenue Cycle Managment to Conduct price and rate analysis based on costs and assists in the development of sliding fee scale.
∎ Provides analysis and information as necessary to support the extranal audit .Obtains the neccessary supporting documantion and prepare analysis as requested by extranal auditors .
∎ Participates and /or leads special projects as needed.
∎ Works with business managment and clinical teams to assist in the development of new procedures or processes to improve performance .
∎ All other duties as assigned .
∎ Develops tool and analytics to perform various types of financial analysis.
∎ We are seeking a detail-oriented Home Health Care Administrator/Claim Processor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing, processing, and managing claims related to home health care services and day to day administrative work. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of health care policies and regulations.
