Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Accounting Operations:
∎ Assist in maintaining accurate financial records, including general ledger entries.
∎ Handle day-to-day accounting tasks, such as bank reconciliations, journal entries, and petty cash management.
∎ Prepare invoices, process payments, and manage accounts receivable and payable.
∎ Financial Reporting:
∎ Assist in preparing financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
∎ Provide support for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
∎ Prepare detailed reports on financial discrepancies and variances.
∎ Taxation and Compliance:
∎ Support the preparation and submission of VAT, tax, and other regulatory filings.
∎ Ensure compliance with local tax laws and financial regulations.
∎ Audit Assistance:
∎ Work with the Accounts Manager during internal and external audits.
∎ Prepare audit documentation and address audit queries.
∎ SOA Reconciliation:
∎ Maintain and update the SOA to HQ.
∎ Reconciliation of SOA provided by HQ.
∎ Stakeholder Coordination:
∎ Liaise with vendors, airlines, and other partners to resolve financial queries.
∎ Assist in handling billing disputes or clarifications with clients.
∎ Capping & Refunds:
∎ Provide support to ensure all capping and refunds are settled as per Company policy.
