Educational Requirements:
∎ Master of Commerce (MCom)
∎ Master's degree in Accounting/ Finance/ MBA Major in Accounting/ Finance
∎ Partial Professional qualifications will be given additional preference.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 12 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Prepare budget and its revision as well as budget narrative.
∎ Prepare budget variance analysis and reporting to supervisor.
∎ Budget Forecast, variance analysis and revision as and when necessary.
∎ Prepare the monthly, quarterly, half yearly and annual donors report including variance report and forecast as per donor requirement.
∎ Preparation of different financial reports as required by the management and any other related jobs as assigned by the head of department as well as Management.
∎ Prepare monthly statements for the management reporting in consultation with supervisor.
∎ Prepare monthly project expenses report of project in consultation with supervisor.
∎ Review partner budget and budgetary allocations and modifications as when necessary.
∎ Prepare various financial statements as per requirement and coordinate with Auditors.
∎ Responsible to assist conducting various audits to comply with donors' requirement as well as the requirement of the NGO Affairs Bureau of the Government of Bangladesh.
∎ Liaison with NGO Affairs Bureau for the project approval (Like FD-6, FD-7, FC-1 etc.) and Audit clearance, registration etc.
∎ Tax and VAT related documents preparation and return submit to the authority.
∎ Responsible for checking vouchers/bills and expenses as per budget line.
∎ Knowledge about financial software Quickbooks Enterprise Solutions.
∎ Updating accounting software entry as daily basis
∎ Maintain inter-departmental liaison with different programs.
∎ Review partner agreement and modifications as when necessary
Additional Requirements:
∎ Knowledge about financial software (QuickBooks) will be considered an added advantage.
∎ Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) are essential.
∎ Ability to closely work with team members, flexibility to adapt to different work conditions.
∎ Good understanding of the financial system of the project.
∎ Manage Tax and VAT related issues of the projects and support activity as team member.
∎ Fluent in speaking and writing English & Bangla
