Educational Requirements:
∎ Minimum Bachelor's degree in Finance from a well-known University.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to managerial staff and where necessary recommend further courses of action.
∎ Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company's actual performance compared to the business plans and project budgets.
∎ Develop trends and projections for the firm's finances.
∎ Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
∎ Oversee operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met.
∎ Assist in the preparation of project budgets and company's annual budget.
∎ Liase with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained.
∎ Correspond with other departments and agreeing on actions to be taken in compliance with financial discipline.
∎ Make surprise visits to project sites and audit records, stocks and work in progress and report true findings directly to the Board Members.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Proven experience as a Financial Manager in a reputed construction company for at least two to three years.
∎ Proficient user of any finance software and strong command of Microsoft Excel.
∎ Strong interpersonal, English communication and presentation skills.
∎ Able to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are followed.
∎ A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
∎ Working knowledge of applicable statutory legislation and regulations.
