Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes for real estate projects.
∎ Prepare, analyze, and present financial reports, including P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
∎ Monitor financial performance and recommend corrective actions to achieve business goals.
∎ Ensure timely financial reporting in compliance with IFRS/GAAP and company policies.
∎ Develop and implement credit recovery strategies to minimize outstanding dues and improve cash flow.
∎ Monitor accounts receivable aging and take proactive steps for timely collections.
∎ Work closely with sales, legal, and customer service teams to ensure effective debt recovery.
∎ Handle negotiations and settlements with defaulters while maintaining customer relationships.
∎ Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations regarding credit recovery.
∎ Develop and control annual budgets to support operational and strategic objectives.
∎ Monitor and control project-wise expenses to maintain cost efficiency.
∎ Evaluate financial risks and implement strategies to minimize financial loss.
∎ Ensure compliance with tax regulations (VAT, TDS, corporate tax, etc.) and liaise with tax authorities.
∎ Oversee internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
∎ Implement internal financial controls to mitigate risks.
∎ Assess financial feasibility of real estate projects and support investment decisions.
∎ Liaise with banks and financial institutions for loan approvals, project financing, and fund management.
∎ Manage working capital and cash flow for smooth business operations.
∎ The Finance Controller-DGM will oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to ensure the financial stability and growth of the real estate business. The role requires expertise in credit recovery, financial management, compliance, risk assessment, and strategic decision-making to optimize investments and profitability.
∎ Financial Management & Reporting:
