∎ Master degree in Accounting, Finance or Management and must be Chartered Accountancy course completed from any reputed firms, having experience of auditing in Development sector/NGOs.

Job Context:

∎ Relationships: Budget Holders, Partner Organization`s, Bank and other relevant units
∎ Financial scope: As assigned or delegated
∎ Duration of contract: Initially for two years, renewable upon satisfactory performance and budget availability
∎ Nature of contract: Regular
∎ Grade: G
∎ Travel: Frequent travel to projects areas outside Dhaka
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for financial and accounting management of different project funded by EU/EC, USAID, DFID (UKaid), UNICEF, UNDP, BMGF and etc.
∎ Budget management, preparation, modification and variance analysis. Review budget holder reports and ensure proper coding to charge proper budget line.
∎ Review transactions, entries transactions in Q&A for upload transactions to SUN Systems Accounting Software.
∎ Ensure expenditure reports from partners, checking and adjust advances.
∎ Financial reporting for donors, budget holder reports for internal management.
∎ Manage funds for partners, area offices and ensure fund availability through timely disburse.
∎ Support for reporting related to NGOAB, fund clearance, FD -2, FD-4, FD- 6 and Annual Reports related to projects.
∎ Visit partner offices, prepare financial monitoring reports, audit action list and follow up reports.
∎ Support external and internal auditors of donors and appointed external auditors to review financial transactions, documents and prepare financial statements for the auditors.
∎ Support administration for procurement process.
∎ Support core finance for preparing organizational annual accounts, provident fund accounts, gratuity accounts, staff tax certificates, prepare budget for various calls for proposal and concept notes.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum of 05 years of professional experience in the development sector.
∎ Good knowledge computer based accounting system and advance skill in excel.
∎ Excellent facilitation, coordination, team management, reporting and presentation skill.
∎ Dynamic and creative, keen to learn, can collaborate with multiple groups and inspire others, takes responsibilities for on-time delivery.
∎ Negotiation and interpersonal skill.
∎ Fluency in English language and proficiency in computer application
Salary: Tk. 45000 - 55000 (Monthly)
