Job Context:
∎ Nazrul Smriti Sangsad-NSS is a non-government humanitarian organization working for the advancement of the poor, women, children, minority group, excluded people and person with disability since 2000. NSS is a non-profitable, non-political, child and gender sensitive organization. It always values all diversified people without discriminating religions, casts, creeds and suppresses all sorts of discrimination with ethnic and minority people. It also values class and levels of team members as well as beneficiaries.
∎ The organization is going to implement a project titled "Community based Resilience, Women`s Empowerment and Action (CREA)", supported by Manusher Jonno Foundation (MJF). The project will be implemented at Pathorghata Upazila of Barguna District. The project duration is March 2023 to June 2026. In this current project NSS is seeking Field Facilitator (FF) to implement the project activities. The FF is responsible for implementing project activities as frontliners under the close monitoring, supervision of Project Officer and Project Coordinator.
∎ Job Location: Union base at Pathorghata Upazila of Barguna District.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Prepare individual activity plan based on detailed project implementation plan and implement field activities accordingly.
∎ Facilitate community sessions for awareness raising on human rights, gender, safeguarding, child marriage prevention, women leadership development, social safety net programs, climate change, disaster risk reduction, health and nutrition.
∎ Arrange FGDs, community consultations for beneficiary selection and group formation.
∎ Provide support to conduct survey and study as per need of the project.
∎ Assist PC and PO to form different committees at Union and Upazila level
∎ Influence LGIs to organize Wardshava as per LGI operational guideline to reflect women and excluded people participations.
∎ Ensure Open Budget Sessions to strengthen women fisherfolks participations in raising voice.
∎ Assist PC and PO to maintain liaison with the political leaders, government officials, NGO personnel, community people, women groups and other civil society forum.
∎ Assist PO to organize training, sharing meeting, workshop, seminar etc.
∎ Collect information and data for preparing reports, study reports, impact analysis reports etc.
∎ Provide information and data to PO and PC for reporting and documentation to ensure effective coordination and proper implementation.
∎ Communicate with different stakeholders as per need of the project or as per instruction of PC or higher management.
∎ Represent Vision and Mission of NSS at field level.
∎ Work with different committees formed by NSS when assigned.
∎ Work as a team member of the coordination of organization and facilitate team work. All other duties assigned by the PC and Executive Director.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ Minimum 3 years of experience in similar types of projects in NGOs.
∎ The person experienced in gender, women empowerment, disaster management, and community empowerment will get preference.
∎ Strong facilitation, interpersonal and presentation skills.
∎ Ability to work independently, functioning effectively in a collaborative team environment.
∎ Excellent command on English and Bangla in verbal and written communication.
∎ Sound knowledge on LGIs, RTI, gender and women empowerment related projects.
∎ Excellent communication and networking skill with wide range of stakeholders like GOs, NGOs, civil society and local elite and influential people.
∎ Ability to extensive field visit with excellent physical condition will be essential criteria.
∎ Female candidates are encouraged and preference will be given to the local candidates.

Salary:
∎ 20,000 BDT with other benefits according to project budget.
