Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Follow the instruction of supervisor and implement the project activity.
∎ Land selection for mangrove plantation activity.
∎ Communicate with land owners and community for securing/finalizing selected land for plantation.
∎ Build up strong relationship and coordination with the land owners and community people and record and keep the list of land owners and community people.
∎ Ensure community engagement, association formation and actively functioning of the group.
∎ Support and assist the community people during plantation activity and reporting the update of progress of activity.
∎ Follow up the activity of CAC, guide them, assist them and monitor their activity.
∎ Ensure regular meeting of the CAC, keeping resolution and maintaining financial transaction.
∎ Collect information of community base nursery and assist for saplings transportation.
∎ Plot base nursery development, observation and reporting.
∎ All information collection of mangrove plantation site like basic information, photo, video and others for documentation.
∎ Monitoring the eco guard activity of responsible plot.
∎ Conduct monitoring of Mangrove restoration plot (growth; height, diameter, survivality, biodiversity etc. required) and also capture photos of plantation plots in a regular interval.
∎ Organize, conduct and facilitate DFO base any type of events/programs.
∎ Any other duties assigned by management.
∎ Location: Dacope (Banishanta Union), Khulna, Bangladesh.
∎ Duration: 3 years
∎ BEDS is seeking three responsible and dedicated Field Facilitator to join our BEDS team on a full-time basis. The Field Facilitator will be responsible to assist the Supervisor's outreach activities. They have to monitor & physically attend to the plantation activities, community engagement & awareness. He /She will work in close collaboration with local communities. He / She will be dedicated to serve any other duties assigned by management.
