Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Evaluate fabric performance, appearance, and quality against buyer/brand specifications. Collaborate with fabric suppliers, mills, and internal teams for sourcing and development.
∎ Provide technical support in fabric selection, testing, finishing, and approval processes.
∎ Monitor lab dips, hand feel, shrinkage, GSM, color fastness, and other fabric parameters.
∎ Conduct risk analysis on fabric types before bulk production to avoid potential quality issues.
∎ Coordinate with QA and Production teams to resolve any fabric-related issue.
∎ Stay updated on fabric trends, innovations, and new technologies in the textile industry
