Job Responsibilities:
∎ The day-to-day functioning of Safety Department activities under supervision of the Head of Safety and assisting section heads
∎ Maintenance of the Safety Risk Management (SRM) programs
∎ Assisting section In-charge for analysis of corrective & preventive safety measures to perform and facilitate safety related hazard identification and risk mitigation
∎ Following up with the results from FS related SRM programs through Safety Assurance (SA) processes & activities
∎ Assisting section In-charge in monitoring & measuring safety performance and effectiveness of safety risk controls through Safety Performance Indicators (SPIs)
∎ Assisting section In-charge ensuring the scale, type, and condition of the safety equipment carried on the company's aircraft to comply at all times with the requirements demanded by current legislation
∎ Assisting section In-charge in conducting & evaluating departmental and unit level SMS trainings and briefings
∎ Collecting safety related films, posters, bulletins to display at the relevant places in a befitting manner as a part of creating Safety Awareness at all levels
∎ Assisting section In-charge in the analysis of corrective & preventive safety measures generated from safety activities
∎ Monitoring the effectiveness of the annual calendar consisting of schedules for departmental and unit level SMS trainings, briefings, seminars and meetings
∎ From the record, regularly following up with the finding being unattended
∎ Being involved in establishing, maintaining & periodically reviewing the Emergency Response Plan (ERP) of US-Bangla Airlines
∎ Assisting section In-charge in maintaining a virtual office filing system for the whole safety department
∎ Assisting In-charge RKA in conducting & evaluating departmental and unit level RKA related SMS training and briefings
∎ Additional duties related to Safety & Quality Auditing as well as planning, processing, record keeping & following up of the same.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 30 years
∎ Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
∎ Well conversant in software management systems and aviation principles.
∎ Strong sense of discipline.
∎ Ability to work under pressure.
∎ Strong analytical & problem solving abilities
∎ Having good command over MS Office modules.
