Education:

Responsibilities & Context:

A reputed tea business management company is seeking dynamic, self-motivated, and results-driven professionals to join its Internal Audit team for tea garden operations. The ideal candidates will demonstrate strong analytical capabilities, integrity, and a commitment to ensuring operational efficiency and financial compliance across tea garden management activities.

Job Location: Halda Valley & Hill Plantation (Fatikchhari - Chittagong)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular internal audits of tea garden operations, including production, procurement, inventory, payroll, and financial transactions.

  • Verify compliance with company policies, internal controls, and statutory/regulatory requirements.

  • Review cash management, store inventory, fertilizer/chemical usage, and field-level operational expenses.

  • Perform physical verification of stock, assets, and field resources to ensure accuracy and accountability.

  • Identify operational inefficiencies, financial discrepancies, and potential risks, and recommend corrective actions.

  • Prepare detailed audit reports with findings, observations, and actionable recommendations.

  • Monitor implementation of audit recommendations and follow up on corrective measures.

  • Assist in developing and improving internal control systems to enhance operational efficiency.

  • Coordinate with garden managers, accounts personnel, and head office to ensure transparent financial and operational practices.

  • Support special audits, investigations, and management reviews as required.
