Responsibilities & Context:
∎ · Pre-Audit & Post Audit:
∎ · Assist management in conducting Audit Need Assessment (ANA) and preparing the Annual Audit Plan for all business units in accordance with the ranking of risk assessed in the ANA process.
∎ · Conduct pre-audit of all payments of all SBUs.
∎ · Carry out audit, spot check & investigations as per the annual plan and as per management’s instruction to ensure that organization resources are safeguarded.
∎ · Assist management in performing regular surprise and planned checks on all departments to ensure policy compliance.
∎ · Timely reporting to Manager-Audit about the outcome of the pre-audit.
∎ · Internal Control Check:
∎ · Conduct fixed assets verification on requirement basis.
∎ · Visit Units, Field Offices and Branch Offices to ascertain uniformity and reliability of their systems and controls.
∎ · Provide management with information on the adequacy of internal control, policies and procedures.
∎ · Analyze work process flows, recommend improvements and highlight redundancies within the system.
∎ · Perform physical checking to ensure that all policies and procedures are followed and in compliance.
∎ · Perform other assignments like special reviews, Investigations, checking the process of year-end physical inventory etc.
∎ · Perform quarterly procurement spot check.
∎ · Reporting:
∎ · Discuss audit observations and findings with the respective functional managers.
∎ · Prepare detail audit reports highlighting internal control strengths/weaknesses and comments/ recommendations on operational improvements.
∎ · Submit the report and related work file to supervisor for reviewing.
∎ Follow-up implementation status of the audit recommendations
