Job Responsibilities:
∎ • Ensure compliance to follow of RIC HR policy, labour law and donor compliance.
∎ • Support payroll issues including provident fund, gratuity and employee welfare.
∎ • Responsible to check all kinds of L/C terms, conditions, process and Strong Knowledge about different clause of L/C, Inco terms(CFR, FOB, CPT, FCA, CIF, DAT), HS Code, "UCP600", and Sound knowledge in Bank activities, Bangladesh Bank Guideline, Customs rules & regulations related to import.
∎ • Support annual performance appraisal & implementation with program and department.
∎ • Maintain personnel records for regular/contractual staff in safe place with confidential mode.
∎ • Support recruitment process (ERF, Job description, job specification, advertisement, CV screening, interview, selection, reference check, job offer, job contract and placement), onboarding/induction, transfer, separation, contract renew, exit interview of staff in line with the policies of RIC.
∎ • Support safety & security and hygienic of RIC premises including emergency contingency plan.
∎ • Ensure maintenance of office premises and field offices
∎ • Ensure hygienic housekeeping in central office and field offices.
∎ • Ensure travels and arranged accordingly.
∎ • Ensure safety & security in coordination with security desk, reception area including available emergency contact number board, alarming system, exit route as per emergency contingency plan.
∎ • Correspondence with foreign Suppliers and local supplier for various import issues (Import L/C, LC amendment, correction, Payment L/C terms and conditions according to Bangladesh Bank rules & regulations, shipment conditions etc.) through phone and e-mail.
∎ • Oversee the overall Import related assignments, Plan and monitor commercial activities according to the long-term goal of the organization.
∎ • Communicate with suppliers to negotiate price, terms of the LC for both UPAS & sight, follow up and provide LC to supplier within stipulated time-frame.
∎ • Checking copy of import documents whether shipment is made as per PI and related LC and corresponding with supplier for necessary correction and to get original documents on time.
∎ • Communicate with, Insurance Company, C & F agent, Freight forwarder, Shipping Lines for smooth delivery of the goods.
∎ • Prepare different reports regarding all Commercial activities on weekly basis and submit those to the management.
∎ • Sound knowledge about LC opening procedure, Non-Funded /Funded Gap assessment, LC amendment, TT and document retirement relevant activities.
∎ • Present shipping documents to respective custom stations on time & Monitoring with clearing and forwarding agents for timely delivery of the different raw material to Factory.
∎ • Maintain proper liaison with concerned agencies, Banks, shipping line, C&F agents, insurance companies, custom office, VAT department, production and quality assurance department.
∎ • Checking Customs Duty, Shipping bill, Port bill, and Bill of entry before payment.
∎ • Sound knowledge about issuing Import permit (IP) from DAE, getting NOC from DLS especially in poultry sector.
∎ • Sound knowledge about issuing/ Renewing company license both commercial importer & Industrial importer (Trade license, BIN, TIN, MOA, AOA, BIDA, Fire license, Factor License, IRC, Environment certificate, Category 1 & 2, AHCAB, ect.)
∎ • Sound Knowledge about Project Loan Sanction, Case to Case sanction, PAD, LATR, ABP, HPSM, etc.
∎ • Sound knowledge about bulk shipment/ container/rack/road/air shipment
