Scheduling Flights: Coordinate and manage the flight crew pilots` schedules.
Ensuring Compliance: Ensure all schedules comply with aviation regulations, company policies and FDTL regarding rest periods, duty limitations, and qualifications.
Communication: Maintain constant communication with flight crew members, keeping them informed about their schedules, changes, and any relevant information.
Responding to Changes: Quickly respond to any changes (24x7) in flight schedules, weather conditions, or unforeseen circumstances by adjusting crew assignments accordingly.
Problem Solving: Address scheduling conflicts, shortages, or emergencies by finding suitable replacements or rearranging schedules while minimizing disruptions to operations. And working 24x7 with OCC.
Optimizing Efficiency: Strive to optimize crew utilization, ensuring efficient use of resources while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Documentation: Keep accurate records of crew schedules, monthly/Yearly hours calculations and any changes made.
Forecasting: Anticipate future crew requirements based on operational needs, seasonal fluctuations, and scheduling patterns.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement in scheduling procedures to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and crew satisfaction.
