Responsibilities & Context:
Maintain day-to-day business expenses, purchase, sales, account receivables, bank/cash and financial entries.
Strong grip in accounting & management software; ability to advise on system development/improvement.
Monitor and follow up on customer dues and ensure proper communication with relevant sales team & clients.
Handle supplier payments, petty cash, and bank transactions; perform account reconciliations.
Approve orders as per company policy and report irregularities to management.
Conduct monthly inventory checks to match warehouse stock with inventory.
Supervise the Executive – Accounts or supporting colleagues, ensuring work complies with company’s financial policies.
Support management with financial reporting, due analysis, and operational suggestions.
