Job Responsibilities:
∎ To provide support in accounting and monitoring the exams income and expenditure against budgets.
∎ To deliver a range of financial services, including registration, refund, cash collection, reconciliation, recording financial transactions.
∎ To identify and resolve generic problems across the team/s, department, office relating to FABS/SAP system
∎ Accurate and timely preparation of expected income statements, income reconciliations and income recognition
∎ Receives and responds to enquiries from internal customers in the exams team or from other functions, usually Finance or Financial Planning & Analysis
∎ Develops good working relationships with colleagues throughout British Council, Exam boards, venue staff, and other external stakeholders
∎ Use of appropriate technology and analysis of data from it - SAP and / or exams systems
∎ Identify financial risks in any Test Day activities and pass on any issues that cannot be simply resolved to FP&A or Finance Manager
∎ Organise venue staff payments for internal and external suppliers to British Council financial standards; payments to be made less than 2 months following completion of activity

Additional Requirements:
∎ Finance experience working in a busy operational environment
∎ Ability to ensure compliance, risk and security standards are monitored and maintained
∎ Track record of working in a tightly controlled process driven environment
∎ Understands and applies general compliance standards
∎ Understands core elements of financial statements and reports
∎ High level of accuracy and attention to detail

Salary:
∎ Monthly salary BDT 46,809 (Consolidated).

Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Transport allowance of BDT 9,000 per month plus other benefits according to the organisation's policy
