Educational Requirements:
∎ Master of Science (MSc) in Environmental Science, Master of Science (MSc) in Environment Engineering.
∎ Skills Required: Civil

Experience Requirements:
∎ 2 to 3 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assessment of Environmental Impact
∎ Preparation of Initial Environmental Examination (IEE), Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), and Environmental Management Plan (EMP) to mitigate the adverse environmental impacts
∎ Evaluate, Prepare Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA), Environmental & Social Management Plan (ESMP), Initial Environmental Examination (IEE), Feasibility Study etc.
∎ Responsible for environmental quality sampling and testing related works such as Air Quality, Noise and Vibration Measurement, Water Quality, Soil Quality, sediment, Benthos and Plankton, etc.
∎ Development of compliance monitoring program for construction and supervision project.
∎ Consulting with various stakeholders about different environmental issues;
∎ Responsible for staff training and ensure all members of workforce recognize & understand their responsibility & own contribution to improve environmental performance.
∎ Understand and monitor the implementation of ESMP/ESIA of different organization;
∎ Prepare adequate E&S due-diligence on high risk and complex transactions in line with the World Bank guidelines and IFC Performance Standards.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Skills Required: Field Work
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): GIS/ Remote Sensing, Report Writing, Research Design/ Analysis
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Consulting Firms, Group of Companies, NGO, Research Organization, Third Party Auditor (Quality, Health, Environment, Compliance
∎ Knowledge about preparing EOI (Expression of Interest) and RFP (Request for Proposal), Research Proposal, Concept Note etc.;
∎ Publication in recognized journal;
∎ Knowledge about DOE rules and regulations, World Bank guidelines, IFC performance standard;
∎ Work experience in implementing any certifications such as ISO, OHSAS etc.;
∎ Familiar with IFC/World Bank/ADB/JICA etc. works;
∎ Knowledge about GIS mapping.
∎ Willing to take challenge and work under pressure
∎ Good written and verbal communications skills
∎ Team spirit.

Salary: Tk. 20000 - 40000 (Monthly)
