Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor major in Finance, economics, Agri- economics or Development Studies from any reputed university
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
Job Context:
∎ To support, lead, grow and manage the portfolio of the small and medium enterprises, product value chain, private sector engagement and risk sharing initiatives based on natural, climate related and economic shocks.
∎ Job Type: Fixed Term (03 year)
Additional Requirements:
∎ 5 years' experience on economic development project management and implementation and at least 3 years work experience with rural MSEs and value chain development project;
∎ Expertise on market system principles, value chain analysis, risk analysis of business portfolio, and business plan
∎ Ability to act as a change maker to influence the policy and facilitate different influencing tools for sector development
∎ Strong knowledge and experience in markets, enterprise development, business management and strategic planning, analysis of markets, analysis of competition, production planning, etc.
∎ Ability to financial projection, financial analysis, generating and reviewing financial information, income statements and cash-flows.
∎ Experience of developing livelihoods programmes focusing on markets, women economic leadership and climate change adaptation;
∎ Effective and inclusive leadership and management skills, including identifying and addressing learning and development needs;
∎ Clear understanding and knowledge on market analysis and role of private sectors in poverty eradication or employment generation. Strong partnership development skills, communication and coordination skills;
∎ The production, assimilation and analysis of programme information to inform future directions;
∎ Support internal and external communications, using well developed communication skills, oral and written;
∎ Competency in drafting annual and semester donor and investment Committee reports, ad-hoc donor reports and proposals
Salary:
∎ BDT. 17,22,303 gross per annum (13 months)
