∎ Masters in Journalism, Digital marketing, PR & Social Media skills will be an added advantage.
∎ Degrees must be from a reputable University.
∎ University of Dhaka,Jahangirnagar University,Asian University for Women,Jagannath University,Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahaman Science & Technology University students will get preference
∎ Preferred Professional Certification: Social media,,digital marketing,SEO
∎ Training/Trade Course: SEO
∎ Skills Required: Brand Communication, Documentation, Research
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Leadership, Research
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Advertising Ageny, IT Enabled Service, Newspaper/Magazine, Online Newspaper/ News Portal, Public Relation Companies, Web Media/Blog

Job Context:
∎ WhatsOn is looking for enthusiastic & talented Editorial Assistants & Editors to produce national & international digital, online & print media.
∎ The successful applicant will join our expanding editorial team with further promotion prospects.
∎ 10.00 am - 6.00 pm, Five days per week.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Key responsibilities of the role include being able to work with & supervise editorial team to produce a portfolio of publications Write & manage ideas for features, news, listings & reviews.
∎ Ensuring the quality and consistency in terms of presentation and structure of content
∎ Able to spot spelling and grammatical errors, as well as contradictions and inconsistencies, at a glance
∎ Keen to learn content management system & proactively manage editorial calendars.
∎ Establish active network with Arts, Cultural, Media, Music & Progressive organizations.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 21 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Have a strong sense of progressive idealism to build a better Bangladesh & World.
∎ The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years experience in media, with skills in writing in English, editorial & subbing, making & nurturing contacts, associated PR & putting together publications.
∎ They will be flexible, able to work under pressure, meet deadlines & be a team player.
∎ Should be very honest with their profession
∎ Good organizational skills, attendance & punctual
∎ Females are especially encouraged to apply
Salary:
∎ Tk. 20000 - 40000 (Monthly)
∎ WhatsOn pays the highest salary both internationally and in Bangladesh. Salary is negotiated according to your experience, leadership and scaling up WhatsOn. In addition to salary, there is also Bonuses & Commission scheme.
